    Cagliari ist die größte Stadt Sardiniens im Süden der Insel, am Ufer des nach ihr benannten Golfes. Die Hafenstadt hat rund 155.000 Einwohner und verfügt über eine. Die Stadt kann sich auf ihre touristische Industrie verlassen, kann sie doch wie keine andere sardinische Region auf eine Badesaison von knapp sechs Monaten zählen.
