Antalya to Istanbul

Antalya est une ville de villégiature turque avec un vieux port rempli de yachts et des plages flanquées de grands hôtels. C’est une porte d’entrée vers la région méditerranéenne du sud de la Turquie, connue sous le nom de Côte Turquoise pour ses eaux bleues. Il reste des vestiges de l’époque où Antalya était un grand port romain. Parmi eux, la porte d’Hadrien, construite pour honorer la visite de l’empereur romain en 130 après J.-C., et la tour Hidirlik du 2ème siècle, avec vue sur le port.

Kekova, also named Caravola, is a small Turkish island near Demre district of Antalya province which faces the villages of Kaleköy and Üçağız. Kekova has an area of 4.5 km² and is uninhabited

Kastellorizo or Castellorizo, officially Megisti, is a Greek island and municipality of the Dodecanese in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Fethiye is a port city, and district, on Turkeys southwestern Turquoise Coast. Its known for its natural harbor, blue waters and numerous rock tombs including the 4th-century B.C. Tomb of Amyntas, carved into a bluff overlooking the city. Near-shore islands are popular for day trips by boat. In the south, the beach at Ölüdeniz is sheltered by a lagoon, and Butterfly Valley is a designated nature reserve.

Dalyan is a town on the Dalyan River, just inland from Turkey’s southwest coast. Across the river from town is the ancient ruined city of Kaunos, with Lycian rock tombs and the remains of a theater. Riverboats connect Dalyan with İztuzu Beach to the south, home to protected loggerhead turtle nesting grounds. To the northwest on the shore of Lake Köyceğiz is the village of Sultaniye, known for its thermal mud baths.

Symi is a Greek island, part of the Dodecanese island group. It’s known for its beaches, an annual music festival and for the harbor at Symi Town, surrounded by colorful neoclassical houses. On the southwest coast, the 18th-century Monastery of Archangel Michael Panormitis is a major Greek Orthodox pilgrimage site with a Byzantine museum.

Cette île sereine est connue comme étant le site des révélations apocalyptiques de St Jean le Divin, écrivant ici lors de son exil de l’Empire romain. La grotte où il aurait vécu est maintenant le site du monastère de l’Apocalypse. Au 11ème siècle, l’abbé Christodoulos fonda le monastère de Saint-Jean sur l’un des points les plus élevés de l’île. Il abrite des icônes et des manuscrits inestimables dans sa trésorerie.

stanbul is a major city in Turkey that straddles Europe and Asia across the Bosphorus Strait. Its Old City reflects cultural influences of the many empires that once ruled here. In the Sultanahmet district, the open-air, Roman-era Hippodrome was for centuries the site of chariot races, and Egyptian obelisks also remain. The iconic Byzantine Hagia Sophia features a soaring 6th-century dome and rare Christian mosaics.
