Brandenburg Stadt or Brandenburg an der Havel is a city in north-east Germany. It is best known for its Gothic buildings. The old town hall and the Brandenburg Cathedral can be mentioned here. The history of the city goes back to the 13th century and so the Steintorturm as the oldest building is already over 720 years old. This is the largest free-standing tower clock in Germany and on mainland Europe.
