Alexandrie est une ville portuaire méditerranéenne en Égypte. La Canée est une ville située sur la côte Nord-Ouest de l’île grecque de Crète. Elle est connue pour son port vénitien du 14ème siècle, ses rues étroites et ses restaurants en bord de mer. À l’entrée du port, vous trouverez un phare du 16ème siècle aux influences vénitiennes, égyptiennes et ottomanes. En face, le Musée nautique présente des maquettes de navires, des objets navals et des photographies. L’ancien monastère de Saint-François abrite le musée archéologique de La Canée.
